Crazy yes, but typical for updates from Adobe, or any software company for that matter. I too have PS 22.5.2 available to install, but I have all the usual functionality back now so I'm staying pat for now.

Also, I don't know how to look up what version of CR opens once I'm actually in PS. So, I have no clue what he did to the Camera Raw app itself, but this is what's going on now and I guess will continue until Adobe brings out its next PS update. When I have an image in PS, I can open CR in the usual way by going Filter > Camera Raw Filter, and CR has all of it's usual functionality. I guess he actually did uninstall CR, because on the Creative Cloud screen that shows my installed apps it no longer shows Camera Raw as a standalone app, as it's always done in the past. As soon as he did this, I was able to take an image from LR into PS as usual, no problem, and it did open in PS 23.0. The tech did "uninstall" the newly downloaded Camera Raw 14.0. Here's what makes the Adobe session I went through even stranger.
